In the first half, the wide receivers could not get open and the offensive line could not protect Rodgers (5 sacks in first half). This resulted into a 21-7 Bengals lead at the half. Thankfully, the offense turned it around in the second half as they outscored the Bengals 17-3. The offensive line should get better with the return of Bakhtiari, which should also help the running game. Ty Montgomery only averaged 2.9 yards per carry this week. That is not going to get the job done. Rodgers finished with a stat line of: 28/42, 313 yards, 3 touchdowns, 1 INT, 102.6 rating. Geronimo Allison had a great game (6 receptions for 122 yards) and was on the receiving end of the play of the game where he caught and ran the ball for 72 yards that lead to the game-winning field goal.

Defense

Overall: B

Defensive Line: C+

Linebackers: A-

Cornerbacks: C

Safeties: B-

For missing 5 key players due to injury, the defense had a pretty good game this week. They were only responsible for 17 points and only 3 in the second half. They had a huge three and out to start overtime that allowed Rodgers to get the ball in overtime for once. Josh Jones was the player of the game: 11 tackles and 2 sacks including a key open field tackle on 3rd down in OT. The defense should hopefully get some players back in the next couple of weeks. They will need a healthy defense in two weeks at Dallas and the week after at Minnesota.
