NFL Players of the Week – Week 5

AFC Player of the Week:

Leonard Fournette

Stats: 28 Rushes, 181 Yards, 2 Touchdowns

Fournette had a break out week in week 5 as the Jaguars went on to destroy the Pittsburgh Steelers 30-9. Fournette averaged 6.5 yards per carry and busted out a 90-yard touchdown run late in the 4th quarter to seal the shocking win. Fournette is really starting to look like the real deal at the Running Back position. The Jaguars have life in the weak AFC South.

NFC Player of the Week:

Aaron Rodgers

Stats: 19/29, 221 Yards, 3 Touchdowns, 74.5 QBR, 4 Rushes, 32 Yards

The bad man did it again, once again breaking the hearts of Cowboy’s fans. Down 3 with 1:13 left, Rodgers orchestrated a beautiful drive than ended with a gorgeous touchdown throw to Davante Adams. You just can’t give this man any time late in the game; it feels like he always comes up in the clutch. Rodgers and the Packers are 4-1 and have a big division game this week against the Minnesota Vikings.
