Former rookie and second overall pick Lonzo Ball made his debut in the preseason with LeBron as his teammate and facing the Warriors. Lonzo started off bad as he had two turnovers and a 3-point attempt that ended as an airball. Although that was a rocky start, Ball started to take off after an alley-oop dunk, assisted by new teammate James. LeBron had 15 points, 10 boards, and 5 assists. While, Lonzo, who played for 23 minutes compared to LeBron’s 15, shot 60% on the floor and 50% from the line. Ball ended the night with 7 points, 4 boards, and 2 assist. As Lonzo is still recovering, with LeBron by his side, the Lakers look devastating to other teams. The Lakers beat the Warriors 123-113 in their first match up. Now all that’s left is to watch the Lakers and see how well their season will end up being.
