Amari Cooper has been trade to the Dallas Cowboys for a 2019 1st round pick. The Raiders are now officially in full rebuild mode. They have been shopping all their good players and next on the block is Karl Joseph. The Raiders now have 5 1st round picks in the next two years. The ball is in Gruden’s court to capitalize on these draft picks.
The Cowboys were in desperate need of offensive weapons outside of Zeke. This trade now removes all excuses for Dak. He can no longer blame the lack of weapons as adding a No. 1 wide receiver like Cooper makes everything easier for the other receivers who are good 2nd and 3rd options. The first round price tag is a little high. I think they could of gotten him for a 2nd or 3rd rounder instead as he has seen a slump in production over the last two years.
